Who's up for a fun ride this September? We'll be organizing both community rides and slightly more challenging events like our Three-Day Challenge. It's all for good fun, but the top riders do get three special Bike Scouts jerseys for their effort. We'll be requiring participants to have the GooZam app installed on their mobile phones for safety and monitoring, track their rides on Strava, and everyone is expected to obey traffic rules and ride like gentlemen and gentlewomen. Hey Bike Scouts! We're launching the first of many new things that we'll be doing starting this year. We're looking for people who want to be part of our permanent cycling team for 2018! The Bike Scouts Cycling Team is the core group that will ride the flagship events we're organizing in different places to help spread the presence of Bike Scouts Philippines. We are in the process of developing this initiative and it would be really great to have your support as we ride into bigger and better things!
Our official cycling season starts in July, which means most of our cycling events will be around this part of the year. However, as a team, we will be doing regular rides and training rides throughout the year. Our focus will be to improve our riding abilities and endurance, be able to work as a team, and learn about the things that we'll be sharing with the people that we meet during our events.
We are working to secure sponsors for the team, the plan is to have regular sponsorship for the team's events that will cover basic expenses, some bicycle parts, accessories, and jerseys. In return, the team will provide sponsors with content where their brand or products will be included in the team's stories about riding to different places and doing the work of Bike Scouts Philippines, among other things.
We are doing this to help make our work sustainable and to provide value for the individuals, organizations, and brands that support us. For 2018, we are looking for seven riders to be part of the team and wear the Bike Scouts Cycling Team jersey. The only expectation for team members is their participation in training rides and team events. Thank you! ... See MoreSee Less

Hey Bike Scouts! I Rode the trilogy of popular cycling routes for my Daily Rides series! Started with a climb of the Reverse Palace route, then descended to Talisay via the road to Sampaloc in Talisay, Batangas, climbed back to Tagaytay via the Sungay route and then up to Palace in the Sky to descend back down to Nuvali via Revpal. This would be a good way to train for our kind of riding! ... See MoreSee Less
